At Great Shakes, we make the world’s best shakes, malts and floats.     Our formula is pretty straight forward:  Use the best premium ice cream chilled to perfection, add all natural and whole ingredients, present with creativity and beauty and you have a truly Great Shake.

 

START WITH THE BEST PREMIUM ICE CREAM

 

Our premium ice cream is made exclusively to our specification by a local dairy using only the finest and freshest all-natural ingredients. The cream and milk used in our ice cream is tested and certified to be both antibiotic free and free from any added hormones.  Our ice cream is specifically formulated to make the best shakes and malts possible.  All ingredients are all natural, simple and pure.   

 

CHILL TO PERFECTION

 

Like all foods, ice cream is at its best when served at the perfect temperature.  When warmed from hard frozen, ice cream floods the senses with flavor, texture and aroma.  Hard ice cream is too cold to yield optimal taste and texture.  Good dessert chefs know that hard scoop ice cream is best when left to soften before it is served, often for five minutes or more.   And most shakes and malts are made from soft serve (not real ice cream) or ice cream that is too warm for optimal taste.   Hard scoop ice cream must be mixed with milk (often a random amount) in order to make a shake which changes its flavor and ingredient profile.  We customized our ice cream machines to prepare our real premium ice cream to the perfect temperature and consistency for the best taste and texture possible - no added milk required.

SERVED SOFT, NOT SOFT-SERV

Yes, our ice cream is served softer than hard scoop, but that doesn't mean it is "soft-serv" as some might think.  You see, ice cream is defined by its ingredients, not the temperature at which it is served.

ADD ALL NATURAL, WHOLE AND HOMEMADE INGREDIENTS

 

We make each shake and malt from scratch using all natural and whole ingredients, many of which we make ourselves.   For example, we make our delicious caramel, fudge and butterscotch sauces, as well as whipped cream, marshmallows, graham crust and the mini doughnut we use to adorn each Great Shake.   Go with one or our amazing flavor combinations, or make your own!

 

MAKE IT DELICIOUS ART

 

We pride ourselves in the presentation of our shakes and malts.  We garnish each shake with flavorful and attractive toppings striving for the most appealing and beautiful presentation possible.  We adorn each shake and malt with a mini donut that we bake in house each and every day.   We encourage our associates to be creative and have even given them the title of “Shake Artist” to acknowledge their unique role making each shake or malt a Great Shake.
